On 13 September 2018, the second Technical Review of the DENSE project with the European Commission took place in Ulm, Germany.
The project coordinator Werner Ritter, work package leaders and senior experts on LiDARs, sensors and Gated Camera technology and optics met in Ulm with the representatives of the European Commission and the national funding bodies to report and demonstrate the progress achieved in the last year. Alongside the presentations and reports, hardware and prototype demonstrations were given and one of the demonstrator cars was introduced.
With the final feedback of the European Commission still pending, the initial response was very positive, suggesting a productive proceeding of the DENSE project.
